Organic fold. Tick acclimatised. A relative (niece) of Fraochan Foiseil who journeyed to Oban with us in February. Our Fraochs sit at the heart of our fold as one of few links back to our treasured bull, Kirkibost of Ardbhan and we have sold many heifers and bulls from them over the years. A very traditional line that began here in Uist, they have flourished into hardy cows that often live long, productive lives into their twenties and thrive in the harshest of elements. This young lady is among one of the first daughters of our new stock bull, Molach Ruadh of Glengorm, who has bred some very thrifty calves in his first season with us.
