The Highland Cattle Society’s 132nd Annual Spring Show and Sale is scheduled to take place at Oban on Sunday 12 February and Monday 13 February, with the show and sale commencing at 10am on both days. The judge will be Graeme Easton.

1pm to 2.30pm: Show preparation/demonstration by Dexter Logan, Willie MacLean and Mel Curran with Oban Market**
From 3pm: Bull weighing and measuring
7pm: Members drinks reception at the Royal Hotel in Oban (all members welcome)

Sunday 12 February
10am: Show begins at the market
7pm for 7.30pm: Members dinner at the Royal Hotel
9pm: Trophy presentation at the Royal Hotel
10pm: Ceilidh at the Royal Hotel

10am: Sale begins at the market

If you are a new member and/or haven’t taken your animals to the Spring Show and Sale before, please make sure you have read and understood our Sales Regulations first.
Entries open 31 October and close on 19 December 2022, and must be completed online using the Members Database:

Click on ‘Cattle Database’.
Enter your username and password to login, then click on ‘Sales’.
You will then find the page for the 132nd Annual Autumn Sale, click on the ‘pencil’ to start.
Before you can enter the animal, you must fill in the Health Declaration Form, which can be downloaded here.

The requirements for Health Declarations are unchanged and Health Certificates must be returned to the office by 2 February 2023.
Males over the age of 8 months must be Pedigree Registered to be entered into the Show and Sale.
Special note: Section 11
Un-Haltered; Registered Heifers or Cows under seven years must be guaranteed in calf.
Please do not enter using our online system, if you have any un-haltered cattle you should email anne-marie@highlandcattlesociety.com with all their details.
