As you are aware due to the worsening Covid situation, and with the health and safety of our members being paramount, the Board of Trustees decided to run a Live Online Video Sale in partnership with SellMyLivestock and Aberdeen Northern Marts (ANM), who have pioneered this format.

SellMyLivestock/ANM have held a number of such sales over the past year and now have a tried and tested formula, which preserves the atmosphere and excitement of a live auctioneer who sells stock from video footage. Given the worsening Covid situation, we are excited about using this system in these exceptional circumstances. We do hope to be back in Oban in October.

The 130th Spring Sale includes cattle consigned from throughout the UK comprising pedigree maiden heifers, in calf cows and bulls - and the catalogue is now live and ready to view.

Telephone bids

All purchasers intending to bid by telephone must be pre-registered with payment terms approved.

No telephone bids from unregistered bidders will be taken on the day.

There is a buyer’s fee of 1% + VAT.

Online bids

Online bidder’s registration will also be possible as soon as the digital catalogue is live, approx. two weeks before the sale.
